We are used to thinking of a browser (and most software) in its terms and functions.
We see tabs, folders, web views, and other terms that reflect software attributes.

How would the same browser be described from a human motive perspective?

Moving from "Browser" and "tabs" to "Planning my trip to Stockholm" and "having an update call at work".

I wanted to design a browser function that would reflect our human tasks. This function was later named Bundles.

Bundles

I want to afford access to all relevant tabs to a task with one click. Once clicked, all tabs would launch in their previous state.

Now moving to prototyping the creation of a bundle.

Nice, now I need to see how I can fit multiple bundles elegantly into the sidebar. I want to keep it as simple and clean as possible.

To promote focus on one context at a time, and to keep the tab section clean, bundles are visible only when your tab section is clean and no bundle is open.

Once you open a bundle or a new tab, all other bundles move out of the way, waiting for you to finish with your current context.

Feels about right, let's move on.

We interact with our computer through 3 main mediums: screen, keyboard, and cursor (mouse). Reflecting 3 core ways we interact with the world:
our eyes, language, and our hands.

Our cursor reflects what we are focused on, what we want to interact with and possibly manipulate.
It can reflect what we are curious about in an interface.

Hmmm, can I design a way for the cursor to afford greater curiosity?
A Curious Cursor would be a nice name.

Curious Cursor

Currently, when I am on a website and I see a word I'm curious about, I would need to go to another tab to see more info about it. What if I could do it while staying in the same tab?

Interesting, let's prototype it!
Maybe ⇧ C to trigger the curiosity card? yea I like it.

The links inside the curiosity card would link to knowledge resources pages covering the marked text: Google maps Bologna page for example.

Cool, definitely some space for refinement but I like the feel of this.

That's it, for now.
